 Resumen
Se presenta el primero de una serie de trabajos de síntesis y actualización sobre las tradiciones cerámicas definidas entre las décadas de 1960 y 1980 para la cuenca media del río Ucayali en la Alta Amazonia del Perú. El complejo Tutishcainyo (Temprano y Tardío) conforma la base del Formativo amazónico del Perú, caracterizado por cerámica de gran elaboración, formas compuestas y bordes decorados con motivos geométricos de gran complejidad.
Abstract
This is the first in a series of works summarizing and updating the ceramic traditions defined between the 1960s and 1980s for the middle Ucayali River basin in the Upper Amazon region of Peru. The Tutishcainyo complex (early and late) constitutes the basis of the Amazonian Formative period in Peru, characterized by highly elaborate ceramics, composite forms, and edges decorated with highly complex geometric motifs.
